Time

It is time.

Time for thoughtfulness and right action.

Time to practice compassion.

Time for civility in public and private discourse.

Time for loving kindness and connection to prevail,
for hatred and violence to find no soil in which to root.

It is time for change.

It is time for miracles.

Let us begin.

wonderful thoughts and prayer

i had a lovely chuckle at your marvelous photo wondering how many of us shutterbugs have snapped a similar shot from inside the musee d'orsay!

i posted one of my museum clock shots on the mouse a couple yrs back!
Meri,
I want to thank you for posting this. I think that I know why you did. I was shocked and deeply saddened at the horrible tragedy in Arizona. Rep. Giffords and that poor 9-year-old girl--not to mention the other death, the many wounded, and Giffords herself still in critical condition. It is painful to know that we live in a culture and society where this can happen with such ease and no thought of prevention. It is appalling that such violence exists in the thoughts of men in an everyday urban situation. No one should have to experience what these citizens experienced on that day. I know it happens in many countries; nevertheless, it must stop and as you say "It is time for loving kindness and connnection to prevail."

Noelle
